Me?? Posted once. Unlikely to repeat exercise. Better than Das Loop, but so is my Mandarin.
# God’s Jukebox...The Jukey, as I call it. Pick of da’ bunch. By TIMJer, for TIMJers. It’s still no TIMJ, but it does a reasonable impersonation.
So, there you have it. Gospel according to Maharaja Pepe. I cannot be legally held responsible for these reviews, but if you want a fight, I’m just outside, hiding in the third bush on the left...no, the one next to the gorse...
...look, d’ya’ see the really pretty azaleas on the...ah, forget it…
Listen, there are other options out there in the Webosphere. Tread carefully. Least you know, if you get it wrong, you can get it right next time...clever, eh? Wadya' mean, no...
Glad you are going to be juking! I'm still laughing..... keep it going Pepe! ( BTW what did you jam? play it again & listen this time) Cheers!!!
@myrtle Thank ya', Myrts. What bit? They sound ok to me. Have I cocked something up??
Paying attention now....Big Like! Loved his early stuff with the Big Yin (Humblebums)
@myrtle Haha. Phew! Ithangu. Aye, totally excellent musician, was our Gerry... :-D
...'elongated closure' ? Well, all I KNOW is my wife tutting while looking over my shoulder at my PC, saying " Oh, for goodness SAKE!! .. Is TIMJ STILL going??..Somebody put it out of its misery, PLEASE!" ....Oh dear, what's gonna happen when I'm on THREE sites next week?
Can't be bothered with the rest of it... I can't stop listening to the evil laugh :-D
@debutch There'll be an unfortunate kitchen knife incident at your house. The wife will get off with a plea of diminished responsibility, due to your TIMJ addiction and I shall write your eulogy on The Jukey. What flowers would you like at the funeral...
@ErnieBilko Hahaha. I know what ya' mean, mate. I wouldn't stop to read that shite either...laugh's good, eh?? :-D
Hey everyone. Aye, you hiding in the corner. I'm now up to 147 Disciples on NewSick. Now you're Sick...with jealousy, arent'cha?? How exciting. Must be close to featuring as NewSicker of da' Minute. Best get my life story ready...
Great jam, I hadn't heard this for ages. 140 followers already. Get you !
@lindatee Thank ya' Jeanie! Yes, I normally don't like to brag about my popularity, but since YOU'VE brought it up... ;-D
@21schzoid One reason why Nusiki is such a bad name is that - inexcusably - you can't make a verb out of it. Jamming, Looping, Jukeing, fine. I suppose (long sigh) I shall stick around on all three TIMJ successors for a while and see how they all go, but the Juke is my favourite, just about....
Ouch, some sort of revenge by Nusiki, following my unkind remarks about its name, it's now frozen on my PC. Thanks chaps but is that a proportionate response?
@obadiah99 Hahaha. Ah Tone, Revenge of the Killer NewSeeker. Yep, it's a completely crap name. Even though I despise Das Loop, the name makes sense. I choose the Jukesta' for two reasons. One, it's the least worst site, to my ninja-trained eye (did I mention I only have one eye). Two, I'm not spending endless hours on multi-music sites. One's plenty. Three, would require me to be some kinda' Laptop Keith Emerson & have no job, or other interests. Still, at least you're now down to two... ;-D
Ha I've moved on from the laugh now, and although it remains the best bit, I DID find the rest quite entertaining... and a fine song it be...Get it right next time... I get it! I thought I'd check out my own popularity stakes at Sicknews, and imagine my upsetment to find a mere 2 followers...although they do seem very nice. But I've never posted or shown any musical preference (that I recall) so far, but I'm following 14... it's all a strange business. Maybe we should just give it all a miss,
go to our bedrooms and play our long players?
@ErnieBilko Now there's a thought, Bilks. It's been a while since I've fiddled with my long player in the bedroom. Thank you for indulging me. It takes me minutes to write that tosh, so it's gratifying when someone speed reads it...still the best way. Now, did I say I was up to 147 Followers on NowSick...to be fair, 143 of them, are me...
Havent't heard this for ages. Gerry Rafferty had some great tunes, this one certainly is!
btw, GJ is just starting up and improving ... and have you seen the space you get to type a complete book as introduction to a song? Knowing you, we'll have to play the song at least three times to get through the notes and figure out what you're mumbling about ... but if I'm honest I like your stories. Yep, it's true ... as long as your jams are good ;-)
@ErnieBilko Well we can't let your 2 followers remain the position and I've just followed you!. @21schizoid I see to have 147 followers too. Do you think they're the exact same people?? (It's come back to life on my pc now...)
@Salvadore Hahaha. Ithangu! Yep, the 'wordage allowance' has been noted and yes, it will get me more plays. Now that there's a chart, I'm seeking a competitive advantage...have called VW for advice...
@obadiah99 You charlatan! Either you've stolen my identity, or Followers...or, gulp...both...
@obadiah99 ..oh and Bilks had two excellent Followers (I know them both)...you can't just muscle in there...ruffian...
I enjoyed that tremendously...I've heard it before a few times but never realised how much I like it...I'm in agreement with you on the other three...God's Jukebox is my favourite...I won't be doing too much nusicking ...I am a man of God!
@philipnareike Why thank ya' Phil. It's a fine piece of work, ain't it? I feel a little guilt about NewSick place, if only because it would have (reluctantly) been my choice, but for God's intervention and I've had a ton of Followers lately, as a whole load of Jammers I don't know, emerged from the shadows. Still, I won't do both and I shall join you in the Church of the Untainted Mind, for all future psalms... ;-D
I am still trolling....peaking out of the cave. .will like someone's Loop, juke or nuke..now wait that doesn't sound right, oh well fuck it... going back to my cave now.
crying and pouting by the way...
Blinding choice as always, @21schizoid
See you over on the Jukey! X
@christineb Hahaha. Aww, Chrissy. Nothing I can say, will tame those emotions. Better out than in, I guess... xx
@stevefawcett Thank ya' Steve, A fine fella, you are... :-D
@KerryEJordan You betcha', sugarlips... ;-D xx
A fine choice Pep. There was a great BBC doc I caught not long after Gerry R had passed. What a fine musician and seemed like a top bloke too. As for names, they all blow, so with you on that front.
@21schizoid Pepe Pepe, Peps...... Gerry is one of my all time favourites! Such a good song although, I can only dream of such aspirations as to getting it right next time. The time after that. It even the time after that last time *big sigh*
@cbinseoul Not for the first time Craigy lad, we are in perfect harmony on all fronts!! :-D
@ulittletwit A fine choice by me then, Jules!! You madam, are too hard on yourself. Personally, I believe you to be a genius (misunderstood category)... ;-D
@21schizoid A very fine choice indeed Monsieur Pepe. Sometimes I can't play the tracks on my phone but luckily I know this one well so I can happily go a cappella 🙉
@ulittletwit That'll keep a wee smirk on ya' face, missy... ;-D
@obadiah99 Cheers for that mate, I need all the help I can git...
Pepe, I found a kindred spirit in you sir.....honoured to have made you acquaintance......totally. Catch up on the Jukey my friend.
Excellent choice sir. I've been giving all these gewgaws a try out, but I think the Jukebox thingy is probably the most congenial place to be. See you there.
@DavidAnderson Thank you, Dave. What an outstanding comment to receive. Blown away, mate. That ma' friend, works both ways. I've got one final throw of the dice here, then The Jukey beckons... :-D
@andypritchard Thank ya' Pritch. Yep, it's the only viable choice I reckon. Not TIMJ for sure, but there's a great linkage there and that'll do for me... :-D
