They really are amazing. I've seen them twice in the last week. First in a tiny pub, in which the entirety of London's indie label management seemed to have turned up and then yesterday on a festival stage. The absolutely killed it on both occasions.
@GetIntoZeChoppa Wow.....can't begin to express my envy. Yet another of 9,392 reasons I wish I lived in London. :)
I read something about a performance at XOYO that was like that....the article said something like if a bomb had gone off, London's entire recording industry would've been wiped out. Craziness!
@AliLangston You're think of this live review by the Quietus: http://thequietus.com/articles/08924-savages-live-review , which was of the gig I was referring to and which took place at the same venue as the video you posted.
Irrelevant fact: whilst distracted by texting, I nearly spilled my beer over Beggars Banquet founder Martin Mills at that gig. Whoops.
One thing I should add: when I saw them in a pub on Tuesday, I thought they were brilliant but left concerned that they were getting too much exposure too soon. When I saw them on the main stage at Field Day yesterday my fears quickly melted away. They were absolutely commanding.
@AliLangston Haha, I can promise you my life really isn't that interesting normally! It was pure luck getting tickets to see them in the Shacklewell Arms and I didn't even realise they were playing Field Day until two days before.

Now I want you to copy your life and paste it onto mine, because I really wish I had a story like that.
