Won an armful of accolades in recent years, including (I checked) five Lions at Cannes in 2010 for an AIDS awareness campaign, Best Director of the Year at the MVPA Awards 2012 and six MTV nominations this year. Only started making music when someone whose promo he was directing gave him a banjo. He isn't even 30 yet. Swine.
@thisismymistake Ah - maybe you can help. One the 'change jam' page it didn't come up as an option. If I cut and pasted this link where you put band / track name up, will it play? And will delete everything so you're starting over with a clean page?
@AlicejustMay He is a very good pianist and is getting into atmospheric film music at the moment. Plays Ukelele too and likes the new folkies and laid back surfer dude tunes. He has been going to music festivals with me since he was 6 weeks old!
That's marvellous, @abigail.deeks. What a great mum to introduce him to all these experiences - and how terrific that he's responded in this way. You must be immensely proud of him.
@AlicejustMay About the first part, I usually search for videos on Vimeo and then post the http into the "look for a song" box. That's because TIMJ still doesn't search Vimeo properly and mostly offers Youtube options. About the second part (if I understand that correctly), once you posted a jam you can only change band and song names and the comment field, but not the link to the video. If you want to change the video, you have to start a new jam (and erase all comments to the old one).
@thisismymistake I was obviously having a day of misspelling / innaccurate typing yesterday so you wouldn't have got my thanks above - doh. My (poor) excuse is that I was typing on an iPad while travelling. Anyway, here it is again: thanks!
PS Expect more poor typing until later in the day. MUST sort out my glasses. I might as well be a mole looking down an unfocused microscope.
