@thisismymistake Told you I'd jot something Nordic planned (is Nordic strictly the right term to use or am I being a bit vague ?)
Ooh, I like the sound of this one.
Sounds like the singer from.... erm... the colourful balls advert. Erm, Jose Gonzalez?
@PaulGroom The Sony Bravia ad - well spotted, that man!
that video is remarkable. Arresting, disturbing yet the music adds a haunting soulful quality. Great Jam.
You'll need to jam Part II next!
I didn't know this group, but it's fantastic!
Only just finished listening to this on @stina's page. Loved it then... and I love it now! :-)
@LadyGulag I know... brilliant use of visual technique, whereby the stuttering, repetitive movement stands for a kind of emotional Parkinsonism,
@AlicejustMay we've all felt trapped in those emotional loops at times. Very effective.
@LadyGulag Oh - tell me about it. :/
:-) I'm fine thanks @AlicejustMay. It's just all part of being this strange, difficult but often joyous things called a human being.
@LadyGulag Sorry - just meant that yes, I know exactly what you meant by your penultimate comment. As you say, we've all been there at some time or other! But that your last comment is right too - you can't have light without shade.
@AlicejustMay "Life without pain had no meaning." - Arthur Schopenhauer
@LadyGulag Still extant.
@thisismymistake Mr Beige, you still haven't answered my question at the top...
@AlicejustMay Oh my, Ms May, I thought I already did! My understanding is that Scandinavia is Norwayswedendenmark and Nordic is Scandinaviaplusfinlandiceland and sundry other territories. So both work in this case. @AnniRaasu might be the person to ask though...
@AlicejustMay Also, would love to see them live but the venue is too big for my tastes...
I forgot to like your jam. Slap me!
wow, im all confused and emotional! What is going on in this video?
@AlicejustMay vocals are so similar to Shuggie Otis "Strawberry Letter 23". Took me a sec but I get the point. Wait...are the younger people images of the older folks in their youth? I feel weird..
@CSC Not heard the Shuggie Otis track... will look it up. I don't think the younger people are necessarily the older folk, but according to Junip, the track and its follow-up (which I'll jam next, @waynechapman44) was meant to be a straightforward meditation on growing up and moving on until the director got his hands on it and made the promo something altogether more sinister. Next track's excellent, but the video suffers from the law of diminishing returns IMO... see what you think, anyway!
