you have such a wonderful command of the written word. that perfectly captures this tune
They sound very Flaming Lips-like (which is a good thing).
The bass is brooding and threatening, the guitar thrills are fun and quirky and jar with the song (in a great way). The vocals very nice. As for the video, totally shocking. Am watching a second time.
I think it has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the song a big boost!
