i'll give it that. all the caveats in the intro aside, i do sort of like this song. gordon's vocals here are pretty perfect for the subject, and the music isn't as AM Gold as a lot of his stuff.
Years ago whenever returning from the Land of Cleve with the missus and kiddos in the back, we'd approach the Chippewa exit and I'd start doing my GL impression, bellowing "The Legend lives on from the Chippewa down..." 25 bucks in laffs, lemme tell ya.
