rreally great - thanks
Big like, great jam.
Thanks for all the jams Birgitta, and for following me. I am sorry that I couldn't follow everyone - I have found following 70 people a struggle but I do play and like a lot, even so. Maybe see you on letsloop.com or Nusiki when the Titanic does go down. Until then #GoingDownJamming - it has been lots of fun xx
I like his shirt....he should give up smoking though...
@philipnareike but it's a smoking jacket..don't you have to smoke when you wear it? (we will just cover the kiddies eyes, don't want to give them ideas) Love this Avante!!
@christineb Sorry, I didn't know you had to smoke constantly while wearing the smoking jacket...Sorry Bobby..you can carry on puffing..
@mikelowe @brianberrington Glad you enjoyed it.. One of the best Bobbys ever right!?! :D
@Axol Thank you for all your music through the years... it's been a pleasure to come along for the ride and I've really enjoyed all of the diversity in your jams, always a good listen. I also hope to continue on hearing it somewhere.. :D And then I do agree, it sometimes been a struggle trying to listen to everything.. Well worth it if possible, but it's not always like that. Thank you again, very much. :D
@christineb @philipnareike Now you got me curious.. what does the name smoking derive from.. there must be a connection.
@christineb @Avante The short smoking jacket soon evolved from these silk garments. When the Crimean War during the 1850s popularised Turkish tobacco in England, smoking gained in popularity. After dinner, a gentleman might put on a smoking jacket and retreat to a den or smoking room. The jacket was intended to absorb the smoke from his cigar or pipe and protect his clothing from falling ash. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smoking_jacket
@Avante So it did serve a useful purpose ....it absorbed the vile stench of fag smoke....
@Avante I think I should be wearing a little smoking jacket
