“It's easy to forget that The Fabs first few albums, were laden with cover versions, of early R & B, Motown and R & R. The Beatles did a great deal to introduce us, to music from Black, American artists. This track is from the album "With The Beatles", released in November '63 in the UK. 6 out of the 14 tracks on the album were covers, which included "You Really Got A Hold On Me", "Please Mr Postman" and a rousing version of Barrett Strong's "Money" (co-written by Berry Gordy), which closed the album. We love this live version, from 1963, where the band is rocking (got to love George's little shimmy at 1:05!) and the audience is going absolutely bananas! Wait for the crescendo @ 2:22!!!! This is what Beatlemania was all about. So......OK, as loud as you like.....!”
