Albert Washington was born in Georgia but raised in the Cincinnati area, where he helped define that city's blues sound on a run of singles on the local Fraternity label. This 1969 track--which I feature here in its extended version--is more rock and roll to me than blues, thanks in large part to Lonnie Mack's absolutely ripping guitar solo that runs for the entire second half of this cut.
