Dub-dub train passed through my mind

O is for Ono, Yoko. This track is taken from Ono’s second album, Fly, released in 1971. It was released as a single in the UK (albeit in an edited form slightly over three minutes). Accompanying Ono on this album was an impressive array of artists: John Lennon, Eric Clapton, Ringo Starr, Klaus Voorman, Jim Keltner, Jim Gordon among others. (Ryko released a six disc box set titled Onobox in 1992 and then began reissuing her albums in 1997. Ryko used a press release claiming her music is “not as bad as you think” which may seem tasteless but there are certainly some preconceived notions about her music. I’m not certain this track will convince every one of Ryko’s claims, but this jammer loves it.)   8
