Okay, so this one for L in my #ABCofPunk is a bit dodgy to say the least. Let's not forget though, there were other novelty punk acts, Plastic Bertrand for one... does he come under P? Anyway, a couple of singles after "dancing to the rhythm of the guns of Navarone" under the plastic palm trees, they dropped the Leyton part of their name, a record or two later the singers going on to become Modern Romance.
I definitely felt sick on the journey back.
