19-year-old New Yorker Greta Kline records as Frankie Cosmos, writing the kind of pop miniatures that will be familiar to Guided by Voices fans and with the kind of pop primitivism beloved to Beat Happening fans. She's put over 40 (!) mini-albums of lo-fi ditties on Bandcamp, but Zentropy is her formal studio debut. 10 songs clock in at 18 minutes, bearing many repeat plays. Owen is her most majestic tune (and features Aaron Maine of the group Porches, in which Kline also plays). If you're looking for a physical copy of Zentropy you're likely out of luck—the 500 vinyl copies, with all the songs pressed to a single side, sold out quickly.   3
