I really don't know @leejohnson. This record pre-dates the deal with Mike Chapman and Nicky Chinn who enforced session musicians on them but which resulted in Funny Funny, Co-Co, Poppa Joe, and all their hits through to the start of 74. I assumed they played on this. Maybe I am wrong?

This, of course, was the period during which they provided the vocals and sessioners played the instruments, I believe.
