Routine by Steven Wilson

“As it stands, the latest Steven Wilson album holds the title for Album of the Year. A wonderful blend of style, story, and emotion, one that demands to be listened to on a solid pair of headphones. Here's a track that highlights a pivotal moment in the album's narrative, where the main character attempts to escape from the ghosts of her childhood in the form of menial tasks, only to come to terms with how they've become a part of her.”

I'm almost a Steve Wilson newbie. I quite enjoyed the previous 'Raven' album but perhaps didn't give in a lot of time. The new record 'Hand. Cannot. Erase' was however immediately impressive. Beautiful playing but also warm and fuzzy, like a Kate Bush album. Not many jammable tunes but this seems to work.   17
