Not sure whether to thank @ian38018 for that info. :) I hereby start the official campaign to get all the original Deep Purple members (marks 1 & 2 ) knighted! It's already too late for Jon Lord sadly (tho he got a doctorate), & the way their all dropping off the perch nowadays, well something must be done & quickly! I wholeheartedly agree, but maybe we should save our ink, I mean, they don't even get into the Rock n' Roll Hall Of Fame. Harry Styles and Justin Beiber will be there before them. And I kinda like that underdog underground (relatively) image they have.... oh, and I'm sure Blackmore wouldn't bother showing up anyway :-D
