Still in a bit of a Kiwi mood today. 'Dominion Road' by The Mutton Birds
This is a good ol' Kiwi song from 1992, about some dude that holed up in a half-way house that, as luck would have it, is half way down Dominion Road.
In Auckland. There, You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy.
Oh wait, that's Paritai Drive, where all the real crooks live, who bankrupted this once great nation, with their unabashed and rampant greed and avarice, back in the late 80's and most of the 90's.

I was too young and into grunge to really appreciate this when it was released, but it’s been one of my favourite songs for years now.
I reckon I have played this song at least 1000 times since 1992 and still love it, what a riff.
