found this song untagged on /mu/ years ago, someone thought it was the mars volta. i recognized the drummer pretty quickly and found the album it's on soon after. before then, i had only heard biblical violence which is hella's usual guitar and drum duo. lotta people didnt like this album because of the guy's voice and somewhat more structured songs. if you ask me, aaron ross's deranged lyrics and carson mcwhirter's nimble fingers were welcome additions. check out their solo stuff, it's different and neat.
