This song is the lament of a shy repressed creep who can only describe his feelings in terms that make his body sound disgusting and repulsive, and as such, I relate to it way more than I enjoy admitting. This part in particular: "I won't cry if you walk by but if we both kind of stumble maybe I'll say hi. That's my best, I'll never try that much, because I'm scared of feeling that healing touch." I wish that wasn't such an accurate description of my own mindset and behavior. But it is. It so is.
