Pretty sure I understand Up the Junction. Railway Arms is the one reference I would not know without looking up. Refers to a pub? I'm sure 'local' references gets past most of us Yanks. Enlighten me.
Thanks @jackiepatie. Lack of understanding some of the words and phrases did not stop me from loving Squeeze. No Internet when this came out. @BertrandRustles
@Axol Well, we do have the internet today so now I'm up to speed with Up the Junction origins. :-P Wikipedia says song written while on tour in New Orleans which would have put them one hour away from me back in 1979-80. I would have loved to seen them live. Watching http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1VRuBredxaI Squeeze: Take Me I'm Yours, great stuff. @jackiepatie@BertrandRustles@dutchbeeblebrox
