@MyBlueElephant it was fantastic. To be honest though, I'd never heard of Neutral Milk Hotel (this was 1991). And I remember thinking who are this weird band? Bought On Avery Island at the gig though!

One of the most memorable gigs I ever attended was this lot supported by Neutral Milk Hotel. Not many laughs that night.

Sorry that should have been 1998. The gig was one of the very last they did (before the reformation of course).
