“Quick break! Firstly, a video like this is refreshing coming from Feminist Frequency, and was sorely needed...for some upsetting reasons. This whole series is intended for use in schools, and for whatever reason, it hasn't occurred to the team to define the basic tenets of intersectional #feminism as it relates to #gaming ... until now. This is unnerving in light of one of the creator's twitter comments, wherein he equates art's #political value with it's aesthetic value. The far left and far right both believe this to be true, and, metaphorically, art is #propaganda, but to believe that everyone can, will, and should take specific political messages from all #art is facile: According to that view, I really SHOULDN'T enjoy something despite it's problematic elements, or be able to engage with a piece of #media without searching for it's intended political message. Does not having a political message make something less artistic? Does not having the "right" political message?”
