he is playing at a festival in somewhere called STANDON! also shepherds bush empire (urghhh). Holiday in Standon, anyone? I followed him recently on tumblr - he once found an excellent miniature hippo.
I think Standon is in Essex! And I've been to Shepherd's Bush Empire so many times that I don't mind it any more, despite their insistence on selling Black Tower wine!
good grief, really?! last time i was the sound was so bad it was kind of pointless even being there and this was for HALF MAN HALF BISCUIT, hardly sonic cathedrals of finely tuned plink.

I've never really noticed bad sound there, but I'm willing to concede that I may have cloth ears.
