“Back with a punchy tune I have on 12" from years ago. Turns out....'The song, or at least part of it, is set against the backdrop of the 1964 New York World's Fair, which John Linnell attended as a child. It includes references to "It's a Small World"......' It just so happens we spent a whole load of time on the Disney version of this ride during the last 2 weeks. It IS a small world!”

If someone put a gun to my head and asked me what my favorite song was and wouldn't allow me to answer with "Gosh, there are so many . . . ", it's very possible I would choose this one. It's probably the best happy sounding sad song in my overlarge collection of happy sounding sad songs. I love how the rhythm of the melody in the chorus skitters over the unexpected marching chords. Also: accordion.
