Oh my. First trip to London, June 1987, got out of the hotel, picked up a copy of City Limits, learned that Factory Records was holding an extravaganza in a tent at Finsbury Park on the same evening, took the tube there, scalped a ticket (ten quid), got to see New Order, A Certain Ratio, Happy Mondays (who got bumped up from opener opener to second opener due to recent weeklies buzz) and these guys. I actually got the vinyl too, but I'm not even sure what happened to it.
@thisismymistake what a tremendous line up and great luck! Planning to jam all of those at some point. Very exciting time in Manchester (near my home) plus being of gig going age at last all very, very exciting. Maybe I should start my 1986-1990's era jams sooner rather than later......

This was the least impressive visually but the best sound *sigh* - want to recreate my joy with this tune, but not happening.

@thisismymistake Come to think of it a lot of my jams have been from that era anyway but I'm talking Madchester really and related.....
