I always loved this scene in the movie, which I may jam at a later date. I have actually had some nasty dreams, where I was leaving people on a jet plane. Beloved people. This song playing in the background. Jet engines whining, softly. Not knowing if I might ever return.
I like this version for the lyrics, and all the pics. Her fate is a sad one. Maybe if fewer people had been interested in making money off of her talents, and more had tried to "reach" her, she would have had a "better time", and a less sad ending.
Whitney Houston, Amy Winehouse, so many f these people become an industry, and stop being people.
I have to agree with you there Pete - sad but true! This song means a lot to me - my daughter was born to this - not really my choice actually - theatre radio I think.
@lindatee You are right. I am glad the song means something to you. Now keep the details, the memories, get a cheap DVD copy of the movie, maybe a CD with the song... And when she is old enough, share the story. The story may make it to your grandkids! And remember that you must always love her and wish her well.

@lindatee Yes. Remember. Tell your story, today. While you can. And plant a seed for a story, tomorrow.
