This jam was inspired by my fellow jammer: https://www.thisismyjam.com/Engztrom And, if you wish to know more about Saxon Conflicts, see here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cTTaVnZyG2g "5000 Saxons he had slain." Enjoy!

Incredible! Not many people can sing with such a rich and powerful voice at that age! I wonder if James Earl Jones (who is now 84 years old) could do it? But unfortunately we will never hear a duet between Saruman and Darth Vader...

@Engztrom Cr@@@p! Now I wanted to hear that. And if one had the Crusades voice doing, say, a refrain? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=weMhSSYoRi4 OH! MY!

Sorry, But I forgot to post the story of the Massacre at Verden: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Massacre_of_Verden Please forgive me. Mr @Engztrom here it is above. It is actually 4,500, not 5,000, but likely another 500 or so were killed at another time. Charlemagne had a long rein.

@troybettles Nope, Verdun was WWI https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Verdun http://www.wereldoorlog1418.nl/battleverdun/ This VERDEN Battle was with King Charlemagne, in the late 700's. And in 800 AD... Pope Leo, made him Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire.
