Sitting in a burger joint with my son. This song comes on my shoulders start to sway. I turn to my son "Who sings this song?" I thought I could stump him and then spend the rest of the meal shoving Journey facts down his throat, continuing his education filling in the cracks of areas I must have missed. Before Steve Perry can belt out his first notes (Gregg Rolie starts the song out) My sons say,(read with an impatient tone, eyes toward the ceiling help) "Journey, Mom." My heart swelled with pride, fist pumps all around and my husband smirking in the corner. We spent the rest of the meal discussing their best album and our top three songs of the whole collection.
