this may be my favorite CSNY tune, oddly enough on a Neil Young album...got the idea from the recent TIMJ email mentioning a "yacht theme"... so this is my sailing song, or rather Neil's...
This was originally recorded for a CSNY album,after their mega 1974 tour they went back into the studio to record a third album.The album would never be released but some of the songs that were destined for it have been released over various projects. In this case the song featured on Neil's Zuma album and unlike some of the other songs retains the CSN harmonies and backing vocals.They tried three times over three years to record this album but each attempt failed .It lead to a bitter split with Crosby and Nash saying they would never work with Young and Stills again. Crosby and Nash wiped Young and Stills guitar and vocals their songs and started recording as a duo .As did Neil and Stephen in their short lived Stills Young Band .
