I've often wondered whether this was a tongue-in-cheek dig at Lennon for Taxman. Probably not, but I certainly empathise with the sarcasm of this track more.
yeah Ray has a great snarl on this track @simonp also, I might be wrong, but I think Taxman was written by George Harrison.
@simonp I think it was a dig at the British Aristocracy AND the British taxman.
