I know we've chatted about this album. But I'm still to be convinced. On one hand, it has a feel of Gene Clark's wonderful No Other. On the other, it veers perilously close to the sort of 70s MOR that has (admittedly) come back into fashion with the likes of Bon Iver. But it's just not doing it for me. I'm sure he's gutted about that, seeing as it's been almost universally praised to the skies.
