@AlicejustMay I will let you kow how I get on with the Jane Eyre re-read. There are some disadvantages of going back to it as an adult:BBC drama productions, film adaptations and the distractions that motherhood and adulhood bring. I very rarely have the time to truely emerse myself in literature as I did as a teenager. Your old battered copy sounds lovely :)
