following on from your Dinosaur Jr jam I went to Reading to See New Order, Dinosaur Jr were on before them and before that was The Lemonheads who I missed them in order to see Frank Sidebottom on the comedy stage. Yes, those were the days!
ah @abigail.deeks Frank, sadly is no longer with us, I read in the Guardian that Badly Drawn Boy donated his Mercury Prize statuette to his family as he was a massive fan of the Macclesfield wit.

@Warayu I was in my early twenties, had just started work as a music teacher. Lived in Reading, it was a good time!

How great is this?! Thank you. :)
daftmonk
I thought I was the only person who had heard this before. Great tune and there were some good mixes as I recall.
DavidShepherd
@discomonk It was a big hit after being featured in a Levi jeans ad, so not that obscure really.
natyblooming
jammed this once! love...love..love it!!!
clickysounds
Never heard this in full! But it sounds like everything I loved around 1997!
clickysounds
the related "Lamb" jam only confirms that sentiment.
mikelowe
Isn't this great? Ta!
teen
glub, glub, new to me
abigail.deeks
@clickysounds I love Lamb too. Lo Rhodes has the most emotive voice. Saw them at Beautiful Days Festival in 2008 and she had me in tears!
abigail.deeks
@DavidShepherd I hadn't remembered the ad with the mermaids, had to go and check it out!
abigail.deeks
@discomonk They played it in a club called 'Mambo' that I went to in Guildford in the mid 90s :)
