Close runners up were: The Beatles, David Bowie, Kate Bush and Beach House.
Had already decided before starting this #ABCsofMe not to include classical composers as the choice would be too vast!!
Unravel is majestic, like much of the Homogenic elpee. Lovely jam!
The thing about Bjork that I love is that she sounds like she's making it up on the spot. She's so inventive, and I love her! Never welcome her to Bangkok, though.
That's some list of Killer Bs she's relegated into runners-up!
She's made some wonderful music in her time, hasn't she?
...So this song reminds you of a beautiful moment in your life :)........( but also , screaming your head off? =D )
Ah lovely - love Bjork - Great memories for you too - I've already jammed both my birth songs . . . although I've have just included them on FB - The 5 songs that mean something to you. maybe I'm doing too much social media \o/
Superb. Looking forward to seeing her Biophillia Live DVD.
@MotherFist That and her debut are my favourite of her albums. Majestic indeed! x
@matthewdon2002 Agreed! I have yet to see her live too.
@loboska My favourite female artist of all time!
@debutch Not that you want the gory details but rest assured he (Eli) didn't let me get to screaming stage. They induced me 2 weeks early as he was a BIG baby and had to give me a spinal block and whisk me into surgery for an emergency caesarean as he was in trouble. He was in intensive care for 5 days 2 floors above me in the hospital. The song suited the time. I had to be wheeled to see him and feed him everyday. Bad planning on the part of the hospital eh?! x
@cbinseoul Glad that you enjoyed it!
@lindatee Have you put your 5 songs on the TIMJ FB page? Would be interested to hear them x
@AndyWilkinson Did you see the Attenborough programme that she did?
