Go with it @debutch @isajward9 @Bukowski. I was going update this but I've always respected squatters rights. For my part nothing touches B.O.B. It's not so much about the stand out songs (Johanna, Pill-Box, Want & Sad Lady) its the immersion and range. I've been deep in Dylan 65/66 these last few days with movies, boots & albums. Dylan was resistant to describing or explaining the music which I think is because that aspect was beyond him, it flows so freely and appears effortless.
@Bukowski Actually Paul, I think that you'reright. Adrian summarised that so well that I think I'll concede & choose BOB as "Album of the Week!! I still think that "Pet Sounds" is a majestic album though. In contrast to BOBs' impressionistic lyrical beauty & grace, PS focuses on the beauty of sound, arrangements & harmony. ...If everyone agrees, then you can change jams now Adrian! :-)

Masterful. I just heard that "Pet Sounds" was released the same day! I wouldn't like the job of choosing "album of the week" at that time!

@debutch i think if you go song for song Blonde on Blonde is of a much higher standard than the 'maybe' overrated Pet Sounds

Rock and Roll's equivalent to Burroughs' "junk-sick dawn", or Rimbaud's "dazzled night of the green snows". Just perfect.

Wonderful - I haven't heard this for a little while. Great reminder, thanks.

Sunday afternoon watching 'Don't Look Back'. Teenage girls swooning over a poet. What a thing.

@isajward9 That's an interesting opinion. I think we all should have a debate on this page.
