“Take Your Time (Do It Right) is an excellent, superb and classic song, but this song surpasses it, IMHO. Not only is it dynamic, but it has some subtle instrumentation to go along with those punchy horns and very energetic drumming. The band's vocals are top notch, with Mary Davis' stellar voice doing the music justice. I've always said, that if I had a nightly or weekly radio show, that this song would be my intro song each and every time I would go on the air, I love it that much, and it is that damn good! This song came off of The S.O.S. Band's first album, and it is one of its many gems. There is not one bad song on the whole record, they are all stunners. It would be fantastic to see where the band would have ventured, if they had not gone over to the Jam & Lewis production for their third through seventh albums. Granted, the Jam & Lewis productions gave the world many classic hits, but none of the albums were as consistent and tremendous as the band's first album, S.O.S.”
