Having Field Music's amazing Brewis brothers in your band is always a very very good start, but even given that this is shockingly good. (I'm shocked anyway.) Project of Ian Black (also a sometime Field Music member). Sunderland must be the most fun musical city in the world right now...

SLUG is fronted by former Field Music bassist Ian Black, and this is their debut single. “Cockeyed Rabbit Wrapped In Plastic” certainly is a strange beast, but you can hear Field Music’s influence everywhere.
