btener’s current jam is:
Continuing the "Blast from My Past" theme here. While IME evolved a lot from album to album, Dig, arguably their finest work, also sounds the most like a product of the times. It was released in 1993, at the height of the funk-metal craze. They blended that sound with other signature 90's staples, like octave chords. What sets IME apart is the superior songwriting, innovative song structures, tight rhythm section and seamless blend of funky-heavy grooves and sincere emotion. This Canadian band deserved far more praise and recognition than they received.

Don't hate...or do, I don't really care. Pure nostalgia; my not-so-guilty pleasure.
