There are few things more distinct in music than Morphine's sax sound. Maybe Jethro Tull's flute? I'd never heard this tune but as soon as I heard the sax, I immediately knew it had to be Morphine. Excellent jam.
@Tox_Doc so brilliant! and tragic. i grew up outside of boston and was 16 when mark died and we took it hard. for us (and morphine fans everywhere) it was as painful, sudden and shocking as losing kurt in 94 - but felt more personal @kfarrnd so true. especially when combined with that trademark slide bass.
