I LOVE this. Another new-to-me artist/album to check out at work tomorrow. I listened to the Austra's 'Feel It Break' in its entirety at work today and it intrigued a pretty hipster girl I work with. I told her it was Austra and she got excited 'cause drummer Maya Postepsky also works with one of her favorite artists/bands, Trust. :)
By the way, this made me think of another doo-wop type song/performance that blew my mind a few months ago when I first heard/saw it, but I think I might do like I did when you get washboard in my head and wait to post it as my next jam. And it might be more New Orleans or Chicago jazz inspired than doo-wop, but whatever.
@alisonsghost@shiningsun2k@teen Her Album "The Deep Field" is a great place to start. Think I might have been playing her new album a bit too much ( if thats possible) caught my hubby humming "Stay" :) such a beautiful song.
I listened to 'The Classic' two and a half times through today and was surprised how much I liked it. Great album. I'll give 'The Deep Field' a listen soon.
