"I wrote While My Guitar Gently Weeps at my mother’s house in Warrington. I was thinking about the Chinese I Ching, the Book of Changes… The Eastern concept is that whatever happens is all meant to be, and that there’s no such thing as coincidence – every little item that’s going down has a purpose.
While My Guitar Gently Weeps was a simple study based on that theory. I decided to write a song based on the first thing I saw upon opening any book – as it would be a relative to that moment, at that time. I picked up a book at random, opened it, saw ‘gently weeps’, then laid the book down again and started the song."

I didn't like the beatles much when I first heard them...I was a country music loving kid...it was when the re-released the tune Got To Get You Into My Life when I finally asked my parents who these beatles guys were...I have been hooked ever since...My young ones were slow to like their music too but when it happened the tunes and #cheese were 24/7
This is the song that gets me since my love for music begins with the guitar...George asked Clapton to use 'Lucy' (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lucy_(guitar)) to play the solo on the tune...no Clapton tomorrow for the 'C' spot on this 36 stop journey since he is covered today

Have not jammed nearly enough fabs on here, but somehow feel that we are all too over familiar with their music, that said still my favorite band of all time.
