dont know what it is you want...i saw imagest, the audio, loud ,not clear. i jammed ''Dr Strangelove last week. As a child around in the Cuban missile crisis, the advice was''hide under your desk...China has a ''friendship pact....America has equal,i think it is a very dangerous week....so what is right/wrong.... you are asking the question....?
@lynn200 I was moreso asking about the song? Interesting response though. It is a dangerous week...scary. What was it like as a child at that time?
Do you like the song?
thought you were giving us a puzzle ie what is wrong/right with this song,my only thought was ....its not the right country!! so in that context it was wrong.i have it on down-load,so can listen without watching video...get back to you on that.As a child,it didnt register, only seeing my parents faces watching the news made me feel insecure...................
@KHL_webcontent @thisismymistake@lynn200 That's cool! Looking forward to hearing what you think? If you think the song works? Is it a tough listen or an easy listen? Any frustrations with?
@corcorankelly well I LIKED the song! As for the Metro incident: I was there on business and got lost on the Metro with a colleague. Suited and booted we stood out a mile and were mugged by a 10 strong band of "gypsies"... interesting experience!
okay,,,a gap of 24 years of Western music,,,so out of the Ark..listened twice, eyes closed,,,it works for me,why?the lyric describes the intensity of being ''near the flame,he's screaming to us something he feels so important,it is important, the music has to get louder to take us to that place he wants us to be ,ie listen to me......pls delete if totally insane...ohhhhh to post or not to post...
@corcorankelly@thisismymistake Try Bauhaus but also Peter Murphy (Bauhaus vocalist), which has great songs in his solo career. BTW, great song, video is reminds us nuclear bombs are still around...
@corcorankelly First of all, like the melody and rhythm (mostly what defines a music). Lyrics' interpretation is personal, but I like very much this part "It’s been so long since you've seen the light, that your eyes get used to the dark". Hope this suits your quest :)
@corcorankelly The vocal is powerful as well as the music... About the lyrics, I agree with @Nuno again. The interpretation is pretty personal... What I'm concerned, wants to leave a message about life's reality
My new favorite track!.... I think whats really good about it is the way it sounds so good in my ears. But whats wrong with it is I cant buy it on itunes!
@corcorankelly@florencevibert I find the discussion of what's appealing in a song quite interesting. I usually focus on the most defining elements of a song, like melody and rhythm, and consider lyrics only as a potential bonus. The lyrics must be very bad or offensive for me to dislike the song if I particularly like the other aspects. Sometimes it's not even possible to understand the lyrics. If the balance for art and beauty is positive, the song will be timeless and stay in the head.
@thisismymistake What do you know about Sean Corcoran? I don't think the vocal is great in the in the first half of the song and it is difficult to make out the lyrics at times...
Something right or wrong? Hmm. Exercise got me thinking. The video images and related lyrics of world annihilation seem to hint that global politics are entirely local in essence -- in that what happens worldwide does affect us wherever we might be living, the North Korea a case in point. This is the strength of the jam; its weakness being, and this is a quibble, the fuzzy vocals make it hard to grasp on the first pass. Overall, I’d have to come down on the side of “Great stuff! Keep it up!!!”
@corcorankelly@Nuno Yes, so do I. I agree with Nuno. Sometimes the lyrics are important, but if the song is generally a balance between art and beauty, people might feel delighted with it. I think it's quite a set.

@thisismymistake I will have to give them a listen. Is it a good or bad thing - to sound like that?
thisismymistake
@corcorankelly A good thing, although I missed Bauhaus in their heyday and only learned about them later...

@corcorankelly I don't know anything other than he's listed as a band member on their Facebook page...
