@21schizoid I know just what you mean. I first saw them at Anaheim Stadium in CA with 80,000 of my closest friends in 1977. Then, The Wall shows at the LA Sports Arena and various and sundry solo shows. To see them play so well together after all the infighting and animosity give me faith in humanity.
My one and only night with the Floyds, was 5th November 1974, Edinburgh. I'd just turned 15, so I genuinely don't think I appreciated it as much as I might. However, it still stays in my mind. Your final comment could be seen by some, as an overstatement, but I wholeheartedly agree with you. For any bunch of individuals who spend so much time together from their youth. a break-up of that intensity would be difficult. Forgiving, if not wholly forgetting, can be a beautiful thing indeed...
