I know that a brother-in-law may seem pretty distant ( "relatively speaking") to some but we had a deep bond for 50 years and well, ...it hurt a Hell of a lot more than I expected it to...
Y'know, sometimes I feel that the relationship with my 'close' followers is a kinda 'semi-reality' or sometimes I think of it as a"twilight friendship dream" but last week, the warmth from your words felt very, very real to me. I read them all and they meant a lot to me....In all honesty, I think it IS all a "Twilight friendship dream" but it's a friendship, nevertheless and as for the 'dream' part, well I think Todd puts it across eloquently here with, " A dream goes on forever"......
I chose to jam this one 'coz..well, just take the simple lyrics to this sweet love song here and they COULD also be interpreted in a dramatically different way to succinctly exemplify the feelings of bewilderment at losing a life-long friend....
I'll be MIA for just a little longer 'coz I'm heavily involved in Micks' funeral service/arrangements y'see but I'll be back in about 3 days or so, jammin' regularly once more, being much more upbeat & full of mischief too, I hope.....I've got gigs to go to!!! =D ...( and maybe even some more 'mishaps with furniture' again!!! huahuahaaaa!!..) THANK you all. You're the best....LOVE XXXX

Sorry to hear. When people marry into your family, you never quite know what you're gonna get. If you're lucky, you get someone who's both family AND friend; and that's a pretty powerful combination. Sounds like you've been truly blessed. Good luck with the funeral arrangements and we'll see you back here soon.
