My friend had a boyfriend who modeled himself on David Sylvian (??). He used to spend hours doing his makeup. We have a joke about their relationship being all slap and no tickle. I'm sure you were desperate to hear that! He sounds very Bowie-ish. Haven't heard them for years. Thanks :)
@alisonsghost You're welcome! David Sylvian seems to have invented the "80s look" in this album cover, or at least one variation of that look (heavy makeup, crazy hair, etc). As for the KOD thing, you could be right...

I wondered if the very nostalgic song 'From Japan To Jupiter' by the KOD was referring to this Japan and David Bowie in the title.
