@mikelowe It is a good song, isn't it? I've jammed it before but it's worth another listen. Looking forward to catching up soon. Big Hug! xx

6 years, 5 months ago

heatherrings

@brianberringto Ha ha. Yes - and we both know which is the right side, don't we? :-)

Rain?!? In Scotlandshire?!? I very much think not!!! A fine return from your hols, madam. Always loved this song. I accept the fact that Train may be a tad MOR for some. However, they have produced a few rather splendid toons in their time. Soup and cake you say. I know a place that does that...chef's a genius I heard... ;-D xx

6 years, 5 months ago

heatherrings

@brianberringto Not much. ;-)

6 years, 5 months ago

heatherrings

@21schizoid Ha ha. Sorry, my mistake, it must have just been heavy (to the point of obesity) humidity. ;-) I haven't heard all that Train has done but I have liked what I have heard.

@21schizoid Yes - soup and cake were delish. We did meet the cheffy person but he was a bit busy so we didn't get long to chat. There wasn't enough time to confirm his genius but he gave good hugs - which, as you know, I think are very important. :-D xx hug

21schizoid

@heatherrings At least he was good for something... ;-D xx

6 years, 5 months ago

heatherrings

@21schizoid He was very nice! 😊But since I may not get another chance to meet him again, I will have to rely on you for help if ever need culinary guidance. I've still not made that treacle tart. :-) x

6 years, 5 months ago

21schizoid

@heatherrings Thank you..on his behalf! I'ts all in the black treacle, y'know...none of that poncy golden syrup stuff...er, so I've heard... ;-D x

heatherrings

@21schizoid No rain in Scotlandshire eh? Somebody must have been having a crafty fag at Hampden Park and set the sprinklers off. ;-) x

21schizoid

@heatherrings Is this the Commonwealth thingy? Haven't watched a single moment! It's rather lovely here in Perthshire...mind you, we pay higher Council tax... ;-)

6 years, 5 months ago

heatherrings

@21schizoid Ha ha! Yes - I love watching most of the sports - especially athletics. The only things I miss from my time at school are art and sport. My sporting specialities were 100 metres and high jump. Don't laugh! I haven't always been a Jam roly poly pudding. :-). Is it just footba fae you then?

6 years, 5 months ago

21schizoid

@heatherrings No, no, I do like a broad range of sports. It's just this 'diddy' olympics thang that leaves me at the starting post. Couldn't get remotely interested. I have to admit, this may be an age thing. I do hanker after the golden era of actual, proper sportsmen and women that I can actually remember...simply 'cos they were so fantastic and they did it all, without fizzy drinks and drugs!! I really am an ageing relic, am I not... :-D

6 years, 5 months ago

heatherrings

@21schizoid No, you are not!!!! Cos that would make me one too. I'm older than you, remember. ;-) x

6 years, 5 months ago

21schizoid

@heatherrings Ah, I love it when you scold me... ;-D x

6 years, 5 months ago

heatherrings

@21schizoid Ha - I know you do. So here's some more. ... you've done your self out of seeing some great sport. Rant over. Isn't it time you went to read your book? I've just finished my cocoa so I'll check out a couple more jams before bedtime. :-) xx

6 years, 5 months ago

21schizoid

@heatherrings i'm off to read it right now in fact. Teeth cleaned, face washed, balaclava on and pipe filled with tobacco... ;-D Nite Ma'am...

You did the 100m!......let me get my lead,we're going "WALKIES"

6 years, 5 months ago

heatherrings

@BeeBee Ha ha! I could manage "walkies" for 100 metres but don't ask me to run. I have still got my running spikes but I've not used them since 1975. 🏃
