Once upon a time The Who By Numbers, released in 1975, was hailed as a fantastic introspective album about growing older while working in the music biz. Pete Townshend had just turned 30. Today I see the album is derided as The Who's worst album, which is an unfortunate case of writing a past that never happened. This short acoustic number isn't what you might expect from the band.
