Recorded in 1953 before changing his stage name to Johnny "Guitar" Watson. He was billed as Young John Watson until 1954. That year, he saw the Joan Crawford film Johnny Guitar, and a new stage name was born.
I first heard this song played by Jimmie Vaughan and loved it then and this version is just as good if not better IMHO
