No Harm by Editors

“In 2004 I first heard Munich then The Back Room and was blown away,Editors were the band that inspired the passion that became an obsession for the new wave of indie bands that were coming through, sadly after a line up change and a musical direction change I fear my love affair with Editors may be coming to an end but I put this song out there for you to see what you think.”

…it was sudden, out-of-the-blue, low under the radar and it’s caught me totally off-guard, got me trembling, mesmerized; and astonished, as I’m not quite sure what has happened—there’s something in the purposely ambiguous lyrics and Tom’s voice that is so sad, tragic… and true… It all forms one coherent experience, but what it is exactly—I have no clue. But I do like—or, rather, appreciate—this experience, even though it’s not the most comfortable one—like not too many songs I’ve ever heard, this one stirs what has settled and now it’s all a bit muddy, murky and eerie—questions and uncertainty. And the video itself is not too bad, either :). Can’t wait for their new album…   3
