“utterly beautiful. yumi's songs in two miyazaki soundtracks (kiki and the wind rises) are honestly some of my most favourite songs ever. i think "hikoukigumo" at the end of the wind rises was a reference to kiki and an absolutely beautiful way to end miyazaki's filmography. wish it were easier for a foreigner like me to get into more of yumi's stuff!”
