Jesus! This made me think of 'New Sound', which made me think of Dan Emerson, who apparently I haven't spoken to since 2005... did I say "Jesus!" already?
@illogicalvolume The New Sound being on one of my secret-new-project playlists lead me to it actually - New Sound was such a me-of-the-00s-period Jam I've recommended time and time over, I felt better going for this... which was much more Emerson.
(He owned the album and I never did. I was lazy!)
Do you have Dan's current e-mail?
Don't think so, unless he's still using the spherical one? I sent an email in that direction this morning, but like I said, as far as I can tell we haven't spoken to each other since 2005, so.

I was about to make a comment about The New Sound but I see that's well covered. I think it was Ellis or someone back on the WEF flagging up The New Sound that got me into them to begin with.
@james.gilmer Yeah - I'm sure Warren linked to it on his blog. I believe it was one of the tracks I lobbed in his direction, as was my wont.
